Pierce The Veil New Album 'Misadventures'

13th May was a really special day because after a long-awaited 4 years....

My favorite band Pierce The Veil has finally dropped their new album!!!

If you are open to listening Post Hardcore music, this is an album you gotta listen to:

Misadventures

Pierce The Veil is a Post-Hardcore band from San Diego, California.

As per the picture below, the band consists of Mike Fuentes (Drums), Vic Fuentes (Lead Vocals), Tony Perry (Lead Guitar) & Jaime Preciado (Bass Guitar). These are generally their main roles in the band.

Each song in their albums are original and they occasionally collaborate with other bands.

Misadventures is their fourth album, addition to A Flair For The Dramatic (2007), Selfish Machines (2010), and Collide With The Sky (2012).

It is a fact that PTV NEVER fails to deliver. Each song in Misadventures is catchy and meaningful in its own unique way. Guitars solos and screams are perfectly aligned in each part of the song. I would say this is as good as their previous albums, if not better.

Track list:
Dive In
Texas is Forever
The Divine Zero
Floral & Fading
Phantom Power & Ludricrous Speed
Circles
Today I Saw the Whole World
Gold Medal Ribbon
Bedless
Sambuka
Song for Isabelle

Want to hear their older songs? You can check out Caraphernelia (Selfish Machines, 2010) as it's the very first song I've heard from their albums about 4 years ago and ever since then, PTV has been my favorite band.

Many fans first heard King For A Day (Collide With the Sky, 2012) and started liking this band though but everyone's preferences are different ^_^

CAN'T WAIT FOR PTV TO BE BACK IN SG!!! *fingers crossed that's gonna be soon!*

#HearTheTruth with JBL / Harmon Kardon / AKG

Music is an essential part of life. While some people seeks music as a way to get through commuting hours, there are people whom have dedicated their lives to music and seek music as a refuge.

How do you pick your audio? Do you look for something that represents you? I'm pretty done with buying nice-looking speakers and earpiece and end up realizing that appearance does not equal to quality.

Being in search of a 'close to perfect' speaker, I was stoked to know that IMS Marketing has invited many music and sound-tech lovers to join them in the recent HARMON media event!

HARMON's products have fully integrated into our lives that we might not even know they it! Many auto mobiles and stadiums facility across the world uses their top-notch audio products. International artistes like Maroon 5 and Linkin Park are their users too!

If finding the right kind of audio for yourself is tough, HARMON's leading brands under their belt got you covered!

 JBL

Fun and multi-functional design for the creative and adventurous

 Harmon Kardon

Sleek, modern design for the sophisticated

 AKG

Stylish and energetic design for the sporty individuals

Here's the JBL audio
pieces that the organisers have specifically hand-picked for me!

JBL FLIP 2

I think there's some telepathy going on because during the showcase, I was in looove with the red Flip 2 and I received it!

Flip 2 has up to 5 hours of playback and is sure easy to use! All you have to do is to switch it on and connect to your devices via bluetooth.

With its Social Mode, it can search for other JBL products and play music together too, how cute!!

It is also splash proof and so durable that you can just drop it on the ground and it will survive just right.

Verdict

The sound coming from this small light-weight and portable speaker is definitely not to be underestimated. Each bass and guitar solo was CRYSTAL CLEAR and I was extremely pleased because this speaker is PERFECT! The search is finally over haha

Here's a snippet of the music getting played by this incredible speaker.

The video definitely does not give justice to what FLIP 2 can do though. I can even play the music in my room, close the door and still hear it perfectly well in the kitchen - I've tested okay haha~ Recently I even brought it out for a picnic at Marina Baraage. Love it!

FLIP 2 retails at $179 and here's a link to Lazada to purchase and experience the luxurious music yourself!

JBL Synchros Reflect-I Sport Headphones

This sport headphone has an angled ear-tip that will stay secure throughout your gym sessions or even intense workouts!

Like most headphone, this also has a built-in remote/microphone to allow adjusting of the volume and answering calls.

However, it is special because it has a highly reflective cable that will allow visibility even at night! (Do you remember there was a period of time where glow-in-the-dark nail polish was the 'IN' thing haha)

A product from JBL, this headphone delivers the most beautiful sound that is crystal clear and I'm not even joking!

Love the fact that it's sweat proof and the ear buds is magnetic! It also comes with an extension wire as I realised without it, it's kinda suitable to just hold it on the treadmill cause it's shorter than usual.

It comes in 4 colours - Red / Blue / Green / Black and I have the blue one which looks amazing! ^_^

Verdict

The music coming from this headphone is amazing! It's as if you are literally live at a concert! Every beat and tune is perfectly delivered through this sporty piece! Love the fact that it comes with 3 earbud sizes - S / M / L  to suit all consumers too.  Definitely is a must-buy!

Synchros Reflect-I retails at USD 59.95 and here's a link to purchase direct from JBL!

*I received these complimentary products during the Media Event held for JBL, Harmon Kardon & AKG. Review was written based on my own opinion as well as some informative research.*

Thank you IMS Marketing & HARMON for this opportunity!
